Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey 2017 (SDKI 2017) is a national survey that will present information on birth, death, family planning and health levels. Surveys similar to the SDKI are also implemented in Latin American Countries, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
SDKI 2017 implemented by BPS with BKKBN and Ministry of Health Implementation of SDKI 2017 is the eighth SDKI in Indonesia. The first survey was the Indonesian Contraceptive Prevalence Survey conducted in 1987, the SDKI 1991, SDKI 1994, SDKI 1997, IDHS 2002-2003, IDHS 2007 and SDKI 2012.

Implementation of the SDKI 2017 takes place from July to September 2017.
