The National Socio-Economic Survey, commonly known as SUSENAS, is one of the important sources of socio-economic data of households in Indonesia. Susenas data is widely used by various circles, both inside and outside the country. Therefore the continuity of availability and quality of Susenas data must be maintained and enhanced.

Survey officers before conducting data collection are first trained to get supplies of materials, such as definition of definition, methodology and SOP of data collection. Officers include BPS staff and BPS Partners. The training of officers was conducted in August 2017 while the updating was conducted at the end of August and the data was conducted in September 2017. The survey target was household.

In the activities of Susenas September 2017 is to see the statistics of social resilience. Social Resilience Statistics is one of the important dimensions to develop social statistics and measure the social dynamics that occur in society.
