Annual Micro and Small Industry Survey (IMK)

BPS-Statistics held the Annual Micro and Small Industry Survey (IMK). The Micro and Small Industry Survey (IMK) is a survey conducted in a sample of micro industrial companies (having a workforce of 1-4 people) and small industrial companies (having a workforce of 5-19 people).

In general, the Annual IMK Survey aims to find out the profile of Micro and Small industry (IMK) potential areas in Indonesia, especially in Deli Serdang Regency which can be used as a material for macroeconomic activities planning. The target of enumeration includes micro industrial enterprises / companies with a large workforce of 1 s.d. 4 people and a small industry with a large workforce of 5 s.d. 19 people including entrepreneurs / owners.

Annual IMK activities are carried out through phases of listing and enumeration of micro / small business / business units. Before starting the IMK survey listing activity, an officer briefing was held. The briefing activity was intended to refresh or recall the concept of definition, procedures for filling out questionnaires and debriefing new materials related to the implementation of the IMK survey.

In an effort to improve the quality of the data, supervision is carried out in stages from the supervisor, the supervision of the regency BPS-Statistics and the supervision of the provincial BPS-Statistics.
