In-depth Study of the 2024 IO Table Valuation Matrix in Deli Serdang Regency

Lubuk Pakam, Wednesday, September 10, 2024 – Head of BPS Deli Serdang Regency, Herman, S.E., M.Si., welcomed the arrival of the BPS RI Production Balance Directorate Team, Ihsan Maulid Rahmawan, S.Tr.Stat., together with BPS North Sumatra Province Pendi Dewanto, SST, M.Si., Head of the Regional Balance and Statistical Analysis Team, and Alberto Hasugian, S.Si, MM, Person in Charge of the Production Balance. This visit is part of the implementation of the In-depth Study of the 2024 Input Output (IO) Table Valuation Matrix in the Deli Serdang Regency area. In this activity, the Team from the BPS of North Sumatra Province and the Regional Balance and Statistical Analysis Team of the BPS of Deli Serdang Regency accompanied the BPS RI Production Balance Directorate Team in conducting an In-depth Study in three businesses and one agency in the Deli Serdang Regency area. This study aims to collect crucial information regarding imports and Trade Transport Margin (TTM) which will be used as material for compiling the 2024 Input Output (IO) Table. This IO Table functions as an economic analysis tool that is able to describe the flow of production, consumption, and distribution of goods and services in the economy of a region. With this In-depth Study, it is hoped that the compilation of the 2024 IO Table can be more accurate and comprehensive, providing a real contribution to making economic development policies for Deli Serdang Regency.
