YOUTH PLEDGE DAY CEREMONY

The anniversary of the Youth Pledge Day is celebrated every October 28th. The anniversary of the Youth Pledge Day is an activity to commemorate the events of October 28, 1928 where as many as 71 youth from all corners of the country gathered in a building on Jalan Kramat Raya Jakarta. They pledged themselves as one nation, one nation and one language namely Indonesia.

The anniversary of the Youth Pledge in 2017 has the theme "Pemuda Indonesia Berani Bersatu". Indonesia is rich in tribes, customs, culture, religious differences, race is not an obstacle to unity for the sake of Indonesia's ideals. The spirit of Youth Pledge must continue to be planted in every young Indonesian young man. Indonesian youth should be an example for the next generation to build Indonesia.
