On August 17, 2017, the 72nd anniversary of Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia was commemorated by all BPS employees of Deli Serdang Regency in the form of ceremony conducted in the yard of Deli Serdang BPS office. Head of BPS Deli Serdang Mrs. Tuti Hidayati as the leader of ceremony to read the speech of Head of BPS RI, Dr. Suhariyanto.
Head of BPS RI conveyed through his speech that the work of BPS is not a job performed by only one person, but done by all BPS staff from the center to the regional level. He also advised to always ensure that the data produced must be valid, accurate, comparable internationally and independently so that any criticism of BPS data need not be concerned.

All parties must be willing to work together according to their portions, duties, and functions and be able to conduct reviews from various points of view, comprehensively.
