PANCASILA ANNUAL CEREMONY 2018: WE UNITE, WE SHARE, WE ACHIEVE

On June 1, 2018, BPS-Statistics of Deli Serdang Regency held the ceremony of the birthday of Pancasila 2018. This ceremony is held every year after it is stipulated by the Presidential Regulation (Perpres) No 24 of 2016 on the Birthday of Pancasila which reads "Government with all components of the nation and people of Indonesia commemorate the birthday of Pancasila every June 1 ". In the ceremony conducted in the yard of the office, Head of BPS-Statistics of Deli Serdang Regency as the leader of the ceremony read out the speech of President of the Republic of Indonesia in the the Birthday Ceremony of Pancasila on 1 June 2018.

President of RI advised us to continue united to strengthen the spirit of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika in the nation and state. We must also encourage sharing by reinforcing the ethos of caring, compassion, and mutual respect with empathy. In addition, the President also advised to always be confident and dare to compete in the middle of an increasingly open and highly competitive world so we are able to excel well and can win the competition. For example in the upcoming 2018 Asian Games, where Indonesia hosted the event.

Pancasila was first described clearly by Bung Karno, the first president of the Republic of Indonesia on June 1, 1945, then poured into the Jakarta Charter on June 22, 1945 and formulated in a final on August 18, 1945. This means that Pancasila has 73 years become the guide star of the Indonesian nation . May the spirit of unity, sharing and achievement in Bhinneka Tunggal Ika can continue to bring Indonesia to a developed and glorious country.
