The availability of Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) data will assist the government in taking policies in an effort to improve the investment climate and facilitate investors in distributing their capital, as well as helping businesses in determining the direction of their business policies. This can be realized because in the Disaggregation Dissemination Survey PMTB can be seen in detail about the formation of capital by type of capital goods, business fields, and institutions.

The enumeration of the PMTB Disaggregation Dissemination Survey conducted from 1 April to 30 June 2018 was conducted by previously trained officers, consisting of enumerators (PCS) and supervisors (PMS). Officers are selected by Provincial / Regency / City BPS. PMS is also provided with time management learning in organizing field activities within the scope of the targeted sample according to the given deadline, which is three months.

The data generated from this survey is crucial for policy-making impacting on entrepreneurs and society at large. Therefore, the contribution of respondents is also expected to provide data as is and in accordance with field facts. In addition, leaders in provinces and districts supervise directly to the field to be able to monitor the field conditions so that the data remain qualified.
