ESTABLISHMENT OF BRUTO 2018 FOR CAPITAL EQUIPMENT AND BETTER INVESTMENT CLIMATE

Gross fixed capital formation (PMTB) is physical investment data that has been aggregated according to institution and field of business. Such investment data will be used in the program "Improvement of Investment Climate and Employment Creation" as stipulated in the National Priority Year 2018 namely "Development of Business and Tourism". PMTB data is collected by BPS through Disaggregation of PMTB.

The purpose of Dissemination of PMTB 2018 is to obtain a picture of PMTB in Indonesia by type of capital goods, business field and institutional sector, as well as improve the quality of other national balance sheet data related to investment. The survey was conducted in 34 provinces covering 514 districts / cities throughout Indonesia. The data collected will be used for the formulation of various policies and analysis of investment in macro and micro.

Enumeration activities conducted on 1 April to 30 January 2018 is done by officers who have been trained before to be able to master the concepts and definitions that exist in the questionnaire. To facilitate the enumeration later on, BPS has also conducted internalization and socialization to the local government agencies, employers, and other related parties. The socialization is expected to make the respondent can know deeply about the importance of Dissemination Survey of PMTB 2018 and provide accurate data at the time of enumeration.
