IMPROVING QUALITY OF DATA PUBLICATION OF DELI SERDANG REGENCY IN FIGURES 2018

BPS-Statistics of Deli Serdang Regency and Deli Serdang Communication and Information Service (Kominfo) held a joint meeting with all OPD and other related institutions on 27 February 2018. This meeting is an effort to improve the quality of publication data of Deli Serdang Regency In Figures 2018.

The meeting held at Thong's Inn is a discussion meeting on the preparation of "DELI SERDANG REGENCY IN FIGURES 2018" which will be published by BPS Deli Serdang Regency. In the meeting, the Head of the Communications and Informatics Office advised all agencies to provide actual data so that the compiled data could be used for policy formulation and evaluation by the local government. Head of BPS-Statistics Deli Serdang Regency also in her speech appealed to the good cooperation of OPD and related institutions that will provide data in the process of preparation of this publication and data to be given checked consistency in advance so that data can be more valid.

On the same occasion, the socialization of sectoral statistics was also given to the meeting participants by resource persons from the Provincial BPS, Bob Setiabudi, Head of Integration and Processing of BPS North Sumatra Province. He explained about the process of statistical activities that should be done by OPD and other related institutions should be able to request recommendations from BPS for the future. He said that with the recommendation from BPS, it is expected that the metadata of these activities can also be recorded in the BPS statistical referral system. The system will be accessible to the public anywhere and anytime so that not only beneficial to the local area, but also at the national level.
